Prue and I love food and we love to cook. Lately Prue has been developing her baking skills.
Prue has been doing a lot of bread baking during our Covid-19 Quarantine. She started baking sourdough bread while on maternity leave and she's now very good at it. So much so that we often think that her loaves are better than some of the top bakers in Sydney.
The food alone is a good reason to visit Istanbul, it was certainly the focus of our visit. We gave it our best shot to try everything, but we still missed a lot. Including Çiğ köfte, Turkish Delight, Turkish Icecream and Nougat. Warning: this is a very long post!
Ricky & Pinky
When Prue and I found ourselves with a few hours free after a busy few days of packing and cleaning up our Northcote home, we could think of no better way to spend it than whiling away the time at Ricky and Pinky.
On boxing day in 2014 Prue and I flew to Hanoi for a 10 days in Vietnam.It turned out to be one of our less successful trips, but we still had fun and ate some delicious food.
Northern Italy Foodie Road Trip
In April 2014 Prue and I took a 12 day holiday in Italy over the easter break. The plan was to hire a car and drive across northern Italy visiting food and wine attractions. Despite the drizzly weather, it was one of our best holidays.
